Amsterdam
Amsterdam Photography Portfolio
Amsterdam is a city defined by water, light, and history. Its iconic canals, historic houses, and world-famous landmarks make it one of the most inspiring cities in Europe for cityscape and landscape photography.
I’ve been visiting Amsterdam since childhood—first to see family, later as a student—and over the years the city has become deeply familiar to me. When I started photographing seriously, I discovered that my favorite moments are early in the morning, when the streets are still quiet and the city slowly wakes up. In summer, when the sun rises early, Amsterdam feels almost untouched, and the light can be truly magical.
Some of my favorite locations include the Amstel at sunrise, where the sun appears behind the historic buildings, the Spiegelgracht with its view towards the Rijksmuseum—especially beautiful during the winter holidays—and the Westerkerk, a landmark visible from many parts of the city.
Using careful planning and the best light, I aim to capture Amsterdam at its most authentic and atmospheric—during sunrise, blue hour, and calm, quiet moments before the crowds arrive.
On this page, you’ll find my selection of Amsterdam photography: canals, cityscapes, and iconic views, captured in the best possible light. I invite you to explore the portfolio and discover Amsterdam through my lens.
